Greetings to folks in Audacity Land,
Perhaps, someone can help me. I have a 2001 Dell using AUDACITY 2.X on Windows XP. My unit very sick and dying rapidly and I want to transfer my Audacity files to a new machine with Windows 7.
All my internet connections are gone, so I can’t send the files to “The Cloud” and download them. Is there a way to save the 15 or 16 Albums already recorded on the program (some already edited and ready to burn to disk). However, what ever got into the computer will not allow me to open the Burner program. Can they be transferred via flash drive and if so, how?
I’m open to any and all suggestions.

What I would do would be to export the projects as .WAV files and load those onto a thumb drive or external USB disk.
