Mp3 file truncates when opened

I have a large mp3 (15MB). When open it in Audacity, only about a quarter of it gets loaded (the rest is truncated).

Any ideas?

Not sure what you mean. It’s a 45 minute music track.

Please upload the file to dropbox or http://www.sendspace.com/ then give us the web address to download it.

But most likely the file has corrupt length indications.

Sorry for the delay; away on holiday. I’ve discovered that the error lies with me, not the software! The file I’m working on had somewhere got truncated BEFORE I tried to open it in Audacity.
