Ever since I updated my OS to Monterey, I have been experiencing issues with recording - basically there’s a static hiccup noise in the background that interrupts the audio while recording from my RODE NT-1 mic. The mic records fine via Voice Memo but not Audacity. Apple said that it’s b/c Audacity has not updated its compatibility with the new OS. Is there a way to fix this problem? I have the latest Audacity but is Audacity going to resolve this?
Hi, I am to reach out to someone to get some help with Audacity and a recording error every time I start to record from my device. I have attached a screenshot of what I am getting when this happens to me. I running MacOS 15.1 on a Macbook Pro laptop. I can quite the app Audacity and reopen the app and I can record if I do every time I need to record a song. This is getting really annoying at this point I bought the recorder and was not able to use it at the time of my purchase because you were not supporting MacOS at that time. Know you have supporting software and are able to use the recording device I having trouble with either at the start of the recording or being in the middle of recording a song from a tape recorder and it will just stop. What can I do to fix this problem?
