Modify voice to sound like aliens from District 9?

Hey everyone,

Was wondering if you had any ideas on how I could modify a voice to sound similar to the alien speech patterns from District 9: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkGVETBCUe8

I realize that they’re speaking their own language, but any effects or combination of effects to get that kind of “clicking” noise or get the voice closer in any way would be appreciated.

Any ideas on just alien voices in general is cool too (“bug” like aliens)
