Mixing for 6 channels (5.1) on sound cards that only have it for playback. But don’t have it for recording. Make my life easier.

My sound system can play 5.1, but can’t record it. This is common now a days.

When using 1.3.3, in the Edit → Preferences → File Formats menu, you can check “Use Advanced Mixing Options”

When you export a track, it sends you to a screen that you use to send each track to a separate channel. I haven’t actually used it (no surround sound anymore), but does it work for you?
