Missing Text on ALL Menus

Hi

I just downloaded and installed Audacity 2.3.2 to my Windows 10 Pro Latest Version.

ALL the text on the Drop Down menus is missing.

Any suggestions please?
I cannot use the program until they are visible!

Did you have an old Audacity version and did it work OK?

This will need to wait for a Windows elf. Your screen management is going to be very different from my Macs.

Did you get the "Audacity 2.3.2 installer " via the Audacity website? Audacity ® | Download for Windows

If not, I’d suggest that you re-download from the links on the Audacity website (they lead to a download page on FossHub, who are the official Audacity download service provider).

Reboot your computer, then reinstall Audacity using the Audacity 2.3.2 installer, and watch out for the option to “reset preference”. Enable that option.
On first launch after reinstalling, you will be asked to confirm that you wish to reset preferences. Confirm.

If that does not fix it, then you may need to do a full reset, but I’d suggest that you try the above first as it is easy to do.

Hi

I have NOT had a previous version of Audacity on this drive as it is only 1 week young. Replacement for old HDD this one is SSD.

I downloaded from the official site

I have esperienced similar with a Corel PaintShopPro a couple of years ago, but not since.

Have you tried resetting preferences as I suggested?
