Hi so ive just done a paranormal hunt on my mac and ive used audacity to record EVP’s however ive gone to review these today on audacity only to find that 1 audio track is missing and has been removed, i did not remove this, so ive now lost over an hours worth of work because of this one track missing.

Welcome to the forum. Since you mentioned EVP’s in your post, people are going to respond with words like “hocum” and “balderdash”. I will not be among them.
Do you still have the .au3 file? What format did you export it to? If you export to an MP3 file, you will have to configure which tracks go to the two channels. If you don’t do that, one will be chosen for the left channel, and another for the right channel and everything else will be ignored.
Hi I didn’t end up exporting anything as I haven’t edited through it and I went to look through it last night and noticed that one audio track was gone and I haven’t touched it for a whole week
Do you see an empty place in the timeline where the track used to be?
If you still see the track, but it does not play, it is muted.
