Millisecond Pause in cut audio track

Audacity (Version 2.1.2)

After Cutting out a part of an Audio Track. There seems to be a Millisecond pause from where the Audio has been cut out which seems to be very irksome in playback. I think it should go smooth without an pause at all for better sounding results.

How exactly are you doing that?

A millisecond is ~22 samples. Audacity’s repair tool can operate over 128 samples , so could be the cure for a millisecond drop-out.
