Microphone volume recording change

Hi,

I have some trouble with Audacity and my Jabra Evolve2 65 :
I have big differences between some recording from one day to the next.
Audio volume differs greatly. and I don’t understand why, and how to change that.
Note that on Audacity, Microphone volume is always set to max (1.0).
I use Audacity 2.4.2.

Note that I do not have any problem when I use teams for example. It’s only with Audacity.

Audacity doesn’t apply any corrections, filters, or effects during recording, so it’s a safe bet there’s something standing between your headset and Audacity.

Windows likes to apply both recording and playback corrections, so you might start there. I think Windows calls them “enhancements.”

Then make sure there’s nothing else running on the machine. Skype, Zoom, Games, and other chat programs can all control and change sound volume. If the goal is simple sound recording, restart Windows and don’t let anything else start.
