Metadata track-title question

Hi

Whenever I export multiple flac files to MP3 I get the window for changing the metadata. For some reason Audacity always combines artist+title in the track-title field instead of just the title. See link for example. For one track it’s not that much work to edit, but for whole albums the process gets anoying very quickly.

Metadata is already correct before importing and exporting the songs.

I don’t know exactly but MP3s use ID3 tags and FLAC uses Vorbis comments, and there are differences.

You might try a different conversion program or you might have to use a specialized tagging program to fix-up the tags after conversion. (MP3Tag works with most formats, not just MP3.)
