merge+script

Can Audacity “merge” 3 files in a script/batchjob ?

i have 2 files that I want to use, and they should be merged with a 3rd… in the middle… with area1, area2… and so on… and saved as : Linear 16-bit. PCM, 8KHz Mono with a sampling rate of 128kbits/sec
as this :
file1.wav+area1.wav.file.wav -----will result in 1 file : result1.wav (Linear 16-bit. PCM, 8KHz Mono with a sampling rate of 128kbits/sec)
file1.wav+area2.wav.file.wav -----will result in 1 file : result2.wav (Linear 16-bit. PCM, 8KHz Mono with a sampling rate of 128kbits/sec)
file1.wav+area3.wav.file.wav

No. Import and manipulate the files in the Audacity interface.

When you have finished editing, set the project rate bottom left to 8000 Hz if it is not already, click above the Mute / Solo buttons in the first track to select it, File > Export Selection… and choose “WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM”.

Repeat for the second track.
