HI
not sure if this is the correct forum.
I’ve just retired and am in the process of transferring all my old LP’s and cd’s to mp3 to play via my pc into mt tv sound system
this link shows a menu system
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94eFD4xZ1dw
where all the albums are listed and when you click on an album cover the album plays
Does anyone know what this menu system is called or knows of an alternative as I want to play albums as and when I want
thanks
Ian
From following that link it says :
This is a very rare Beatles CD/DVD for PC. It has every song The Beatles ever wrote, composed, or played. It has more than 1,000 minutes, more than 20 hours of Beatle music. It contains 26 albums, from 1963 to 1970, and further releases, until 1988. It also has the lyrics of all the songs in it.
So that menu system is a function of playing that CD/DVD on your PC
Player software like iTunes has album cover based section, as does the Cocktail Audio X30 that I run too. I’m pretty sure that many other audio players have similar selection via album art.

You could also install a version of Ampache (http://ampache.org/index.html) on your PC as interface on top of your collection, with that, you can also ‘stream’ the music to other devices in your house.
