MATLAB <--> Audacity???

Hi all.

I was wondering if there is any chance to connect the input/output of one function or script in MATLAB with Audacity. I would be very useful.

Has someone done something similar?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Someone wrote a patch that was never evaluated as far as I know to call Octave functions from Audacity. Go through these search results: http://tinyurl.com/ok6n4wf .

However you should also look at Scripting in Audacity which supports any script language that supports named pipes: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/scripting.html .

You would probably get more help with this by asking on the MATLAB newsgroup: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/ .

Audacity can import MAT4 and MAT5 audio files as far as I know.

Also Audacity has a built in scripting language called “Nyquist”. Some references here: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/manuals-and-reference-material/32817/1
