Magnetize my tracks

Hello,

I would like to be able to magnetize my tracks.

Let me explain: my two tracks are well mixed, well aligned with each other. I have lots of little bits mixed with each other. I’m listening again and I want to delete a few more passages.

Problem: if I delete a small piece, I am no longer aligned with my bottom track. Clearly, my following ends do not follow my manipulation.

On Reaper, you can magnetize the tracks so that they automatically align when you do something on one of the two tracks. Can we do this on Audacity ?

That sounds similar to Audacity’s Sync-Lock option.

Thank you for the answer, but with the Sync Lock option, if I want to delete a piece of the top track, also delete the same piece of the bottom track.
