Macro Not Using the Effect Preset That Is Supplied

Hi,

I have a Macro that I apply to most new files that I start working on - a Normalize, a Filter Curve with a Low-Rolloff, and then a Regular Interval Labels.

Each effect in the Macro uses a Preset that is assigned to the Macro. The Presets work fine in the Normalize and Filter Curve, but the Regular Interval Label part of the Macro just uses the last set of options that was used when Regular Interval Label was used independently of the Macro instead of applying the Preset that the Macro calls for.

When I use Regular Interval Labels outside the Macro, the Preset works fine. Below is a screenshot of the Macro commands:

I think this issue cropped up with 2.4.1. Any ideas about what’s happening.

Thanks,

Mike

Unfortunately this is due to a bug in Audacity 2.4.1.The bug affects all Nyquist plug-ins when used in Macros. This bug should be fixed in the next version of Audacity, which we are aiming to release as soon as possible.

Is it just this one Macro that is causing you a problem, or do you need to use multiple Macros?

Thanks Steve,

I do have a couple other Macros - I will check to see if they are having issues.

Good news, I’ve just been testing a proposed fix for this, and it’s looking good.

If you desperately need to use one of your old macros, let me know and it may be possible to devise a workaround to tie you over until the fix is available.
