Hello,
I have been looking for a place/website to check Audacity compatibility with MacOS 26 Tahoe.
I have installed Audacity 3.7.5 on my MacMini server which is running Tahoe 26.0.1 and it seems to run fine. However, that machine doesn’t have any of my audio hardware/software/plugins installed. Before I install it on my work machine I wanted to check with the community.
Is there a place to check that I missed? What has anyone found on Tahoe?

The fact that Tahoe isn’t listed, means that at the time of the release of Audacity 3.7.5, it hadn’t been tested on Tahoe.
Anyone from Audacity able to confirm when there will be a version that is compatible with Mac OS Tahoe? My Mac is in need of an update, and is making that loudly known to me… but I cannot be without Audacity for work. Help please!
Like I said, I have installed Tahoe on Mac mini server. It ran fine. I connected a USB mic and that worked as well. However, I want to point out that is a barebones installation - No plugins or custom settings. I did contact R0de and they confirmed that…. (And I quote):
“Hi Ron,
Thank you for contacting RØDE support.
Our team has tested the RØDECaster Duo and the RØDECaster App with macOS 26 (Tahoe) and found no compatibility issues at this time. Everything appears to be working as expected”
Even with that I have no plans to update my work machine to Tahoe until hear from Audacity Devs or more people.
