I have a wave file of a song with a synthesizer solo that I would like to reduce the volume on without reducing the volume of the background instruments. The AMPLIFY effect reduces the volume of all instruments in the selection. Is there a way I can just reduce the volume of the synthesizer?
You can’t, as a rule, take apart an already mixed song into individual instruments and voices and that’s what you have to do to change the volume of one without affecting the others. Koz
