I haven’t worked with Audacity for some time so please forgive my ignorance. I am using Audacity 3.7.6 on a Mac. I am trying to loudness normalize files recorded on Hollyland Lark Max 2 recorder/transmitters. I am recording long sessions, 6.5 to 7 hours in 32 bit float. The Hollyland system breaks the recording into 30 minute or so segments. There are 16 files in my recording. I load them into Audacity, Align end to end and output the resulting file. I have to convert to 24 bit at that point because the 32 bit file exceeds the 4 GB limit. I then enter the exported single track back into Audacity. I select the entire 24 bit file and do a Loudness Normalize. Normalizing stops after about 3 hours and 8 minutes and the rest of the file remains unnormalized. What am I missing? Again, forgive my ignorance.
