I have Audacity 3.3 on my desktop and laptop. I record with the laptop and edit on the larger monitor of the desktop. Recently, on both devices, I can’t get sound through either headphones or speakers. My speakers cut out in the middle of an edit. The laptop is an HP Envy; the desktop is a Dell inspiron 3847 processor… Laptop: Windows 11; desktop: Windows 10. What could have caused this? How do I make it go away? I have system sounds, I can play .wav files, but not Audacity project files.
Possibly you bumped the level controls on the Meter Toolbars.
And that’s exactly what happened. I have sound again. Thanks.
