Lost .aup File but still have Raw Data File

Howdy!

I apologize if this question has been answered elsewhere but I did not see it when looking around.

But, yeah, my problem is just as the title says: I had to reformat my hard drive recently and lost a bunch of stuff. But, fortunately, I did get to save a bunch of other stuff, too. Within the saved stuff is the Raw Data files of my saved Audacity Projects, which I cannot access due to their missing .aup files.

So question is this: is there anyway I can still access my Project(s) as they were saved in the original .aup file that is now missing?

Thank you for your attention to this problem of mine.

Probably not. The AUP file is the instructions of what Audacity should do with all that stuff in the _DATA folder.
