I am in the process of converting cassette recordings to mp3s through audacity. After converting I export the file as an mp3. When I attempt to play the mp3 through media player there is no audio. It shows that a file is present but does not play it. I can play other mp3s with no problem. I attempted exporting it as a wav file with the same results. There are no error messages just no audio. There is no visualization showing so I know that it’s not just an instance of the file playing with no sound. Any thoughts?
Let’s look at what happened between the cassette machine and the computer. How did you do that?
