Looping a song wihout the intro

Hey guys,

I just downloaded Audacity and I’m just getting used to it, so far so good. However, there is a little thing I just can’t figure out how to do.

I have a song that is way shorter than it should be, and it should simply loop after the intro is played, without the intro(it’s a song from a video game). I tried coping and pasting the parts where they should connect, but there is this clicking sound, as if the file had a small jump, so the song doesn’t flow smoothly. Is there any way to fix this, or any other way to achieve what I want?

Rather than pasting lots of times there is an effect called “Repeat” that can do multiple pastes in one go (Edit menu, about 20 places down the list),

To avoid the “Click” you need to select the “loop point” carefully and precisely.
