long time recording

I am attempting to use Audacity 2.0.5 to recording streaming radio from the Internet. After adjusting the sound levels, I went to TRANSPORT/TIMER RECORDER… i enter the starting date and starting time and the ending date and the ending time. In my case it was 5 hours of recording from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. I clicked OKAY and the TIMER RECORDER window was replaced with Audacity Timer Progress window. When it was 8:00 pm, Audacity did not start recording - I waited until 8:05 pm before I gave up and stopped Audacity. Is there some problem or “trick” in setting up the start/stop times for your timer recorder?

The one that killed me was making a time entry mistake and rolling the date over by accident. When I corrected my time entry mistake, the date didn’t roll back. Are you absolutely sure the time and date are correct for your intent?
