listening to LP thru Audacity w/o recording?

Newbie here! Forgive a probably answered question. Is there a way to listen to my old LPs without actually recording them?

High Sierra 10.13.6
Audacity 2.3.0

Make sure that “Software Playthrough” is enabled in the Transport > Transport Options menu. Put Audacity into record-pause.
