Line 6 GX POD and Audacity

Win 10/Audacity 2.0/Line 6 Studio GX POD with Pod Farm

Hello all!

I bought a Line 6 GX Guitar port from E-bay and besides Line 6 wanting an oz of blood yo register and update everything has been cool…until I tried to see how recording came out.

Audacity shows line 6 in the input and output etc but every time I try to hit the record button I get this error message:

Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate.

So far Bing searches give me notta for helping with this issue and have used Audacity before for a podcast and am mod familiar with the interface…

Any help appreciated…thanks in advance! :slight_smile:

Try different hosts in Device Toolbar (setting Exclusive Mode accordingly in Windows Sound), matching sample rates, turn off software playthrough and so on.

If you upgraded to Windows 10 over a previous Windows version there is a button in Settings to go back to that previous Windows version. You have one month to do that from date of the upgrade.
