Les débits ogg/vorbis (with translation)

Bonjour
Lors d’une intervention sur un fichier ogg/vorbis, Audacity propose pour l’exportation en ogg/vorbis un débit kbps en fonction d’une échelle allant de 0 à 10. Comment choisir?!
Ainsi un fichier de 128kbps qui pesait 2,6Mo, sans aucun traitement autre que le réglage du débit, se retrouve à 456kbps et pèse désormais 7,5Mo sur la position 10; sur la position 4 le même fichier se retrouve à 128kbps et ne pèse plus que 1,6Mo. Où sont passés les 1Mo? Il y a donc forcément une perte, mais de quoi, et de quel ordre est-elle?
Quelle position choisir sachant que:

  1. il ne sert à rien de gonfler un fichier: partant de 128kbps il ne sera pas meilleur en 456kbps
  2. je veux conserver exactement la même qualité de fichier à l’exportation

Questions connexes:

  • qu’est-ce que Audacity rajoute lorsque l’on “gonfle” un fichier (en le faisant passer de 128kbps à 256kbps par ex.)?
    -pourquoi Audacity n’affiche-t-il pas le débit ogg/vorbis comme pour le format mp3

    When working on an ogg / vorbis file, Audacity provides for export to ogg / vorbis flow kbps based on a scale of 0 to 10. How to choose?
    And a 128kbps file that weighed 2.6 MB without any treatment other than controlling the flow, is found to 456kbps and now weighs 7.5 MB on position 10, position 4 on the same file can be found at 128kbps and now weighs only 1.6 MB. Where are the 1MB? It is therefore necessarily a loss, but what, and what order is it?
    What position choose knowing that:
  1. there is no use to inflate a file: starting from 128kbps it will not be better in 456kbps
  2. I want to keep the exact same quality file in exporting

OGG is lossy like MP3, so an OGG encoded at higher quality will lose less quality than the OGG encoded at lesser quality.

Impossible if you are re-encoding the file as Audacity does, because OGG is lossy. To keep the same quality, you must export as WAV or FLAC and accept the larger file size, or use another program like mp3splt (see the Wiki link above).

To keep approximately the same file size (and lose quality) if you export with Audacity, you need to export at the same quality that the file has now. You can check the file’s statistics in MediaInfo MediaInfo - Download . If you are on Windows you must get the version of MediaInfo without installer or you may receive adware or spyware toolbars.
