Hello! I downloaded a file with the original length 3:11, a link to the sharing:

But after importing to audacity it has the length already…3:13. How can it be explained?
MP3 is lossy compression (imperfect) and it adds a few milliseconds of silence to the beginning and end. But 2-seconds seems unusual. (lame FAQ)
I guess, I understood the reason. Please, mark, as solved.
That file is not 3:11, it is (approx) 3:13.
