I’m using Audacity 2.3.2 on Windows 10.
When I launch Audacity, it changes the Left-Right balance on the Windows “Device Properties” setup screen. This is very inconvenient, because I like to have the left channel 50% louder than the right channel, and I have to reset it every time after I run Audacity.
What is the purpose of Audacity changing this setting every time Audacity is run?
Another user reported this problem 10 years ago; I’m surprised you didn’t fix it.
There is nothing wrong with my computer or my drivers. I would guess that this is happening for all Windows users.
