Latest audacity release

I am trying to update my Audacity v 3.0.4 to 3.1.0.

I found the updating system was very confusing and I may have not negotiated it correctly, but I thought I had succeeded when I saw a file loading.
However I have been unable to find the file and the update certainly has not appeared.
I have never had any problems with previous updates and have been using Audacity for many years

Are there simple steps I can take to get this update?

  1. Go to this page: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
  2. Wait a few moments and you should be prompted to save or run “audacity-win-3.1.1-64bit.exe”
  3. Save the file somewhere convenient where you will be able to find it.
  4. When the download has completed, double click on the downloaded file to run the installation.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Worked fine.
I can’t see why I couldn’t find that link myself - I must have been looking in the wrong place.
