I’m sure this has been posted tons of times, but I cant seem to find the solution
-first off, I am using a condenser mic running through the Scarlett preamp.
So what I am trying to figure out is how to record and listen to my voice at the same time without the delay (which makes it near impossible to record anything without messing up) I can use the monitoring through the preamp and there is no delay, but I prefer to record myself with some reverb and echo which I cant do with just the preamp. Any help is much appreciated.
-I am coming from a mac to windows, running windows 10. Never had a latency problem on garageband/logic before so I’m not sure how to fix it.

You can’t do it with Audacity, either. Audacity will not apply effects or filters in real time.

Well that’s answers that …thank you , guess I’ll jus have to stick to clean audio for now
If you want to use Audacity for that it is “possible” if you record through a real-time VST host in which you installed a live reverb effect, then have Audacity record from the host.

Whether you still get too much latency you will have to see. Audacity as shipped is not ASIO-enabled due to licensing restrictions.
