I’m running Windows 10. I unexpectedly have been unable to record. The track is blank and the “curser” is just flashing at zero. I get a message “Latency correction has caused the recorded audio to be hidden before zero. Audacity has brought it back to zero. You may have to use the time shift tool to drag the track to the right place”. I have Ver. 2.1.1
Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Recording: [_]Overdub (de-select).
Restart Audacity and try again.
