I so enjoyed using this program to make mp3 files. All of a sudden it stopped recording sound , I just get line across and no waves when recording. I am somewhat tech challenged but have spent hours reading posts, following directions to check all settings, uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing
Is there anyone whom can hopefully help me by suggesting why this happened out of nowhere?

Let’s start with this: What are you trying to record from? Streaming Audio? Your laptop’s microphone? Etc.?
And what’s your operating system?
Thank you kindly. I am on windows 11 and have been recording from youtube until it stopped recording
Select WASAPI as your audio host.
Then as your recording device, select your speakers/headphone/soundcard wherever the sound is coming out, and select the one that says “loopback”.
Doug, I can not tell you how much your support and solving my recording issue so quickly means. I am thankful that helpful people like yourself are still around. I wish that when you need help you get someone like yourself
