Hi - I just upgraded to Windows 8 and have downloaded the LAME software so I am able to export my Audacity files as MP3’s. The LAME decoder has been downloaded and is showing up in my files, but I can’t get the File, Export to MP3 to show up in Audacity - just Export and Export Selections. Help!
If you previously used Audacity 1.2.x, that had separate menu items for exporting as WAV and exporting as MP3. These options are now available through the same “File > Export” command. See here in the manual for more information: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/exporting_audio.html
