I took delivery of my new PC yesterday. Been using Audacity since 2007, tried transferring Audacity from my W7 PC but had trouble with Lame & FFmpeg. Eventually, downloaded latest version of Audacity & FFmpeg but can’t find Lame. Help please.
Lame is now built-in. You don’t have to do anything.
When I try to export an MP3, I get an error message saying I need Lame, when I click on the option to get lame the following page says it is already on my PC? & just goes around in a circle.
I uninstalled the new version of Audacity & re-installed it. It now seems to be OK, time will tell.
