LAME not working - Sierra

Hi, I use iversion 10.12.6 (Sierra) and am getting a message to browse for or download libmp3lame.dylib. Browsing doesn’t work and apparently on my machine LAME should be embedded, per this message “The software patent on LAME encoding library has expired, so now the LAME library for MP3 export is built-in with Audacity for Windows and Mac.” Can you advise? Thanks in advance

Which version of Audacity do you have? (Look in “Audacity menu > About Audacity”.)

Hello! I’m experiencing the same thing here. It’s my first time using Audacity. I have Mojave and use Audacity 2.1.1
It’s taken me 3 days to record 45 minutes. Please help me not lose it!
Also: where can I find the files of my recordings?

Thx in advance

The current version of Audacity is 2.3.3. This version has LAME included, so you don’t need to install it separately: Audacity ® | Download for Mac OS

Have you saved or exported your recordings? Where did you save or export them to?

thank you so much, everything is good now
