Audacity version 2.1.2 just loaded with the installer

The log indicates: Failed to load FFmpeg libraries then next line Failed to find compatible FFmpeg libraries

It said that because you don’t have the separate FFMpeg software.

Tell us about the turntable, the computer and how they’re connected.

FYI - The optional FFmpeg Import/Export Library is for importing/exporting a wide variety of file formats. You don’t need it for recording from a turntable and exporting the audio as WAV files.

The optional LAME MP3 encoder is required if you want to export to MP3.
