Just tried Audacity on my new M1 Ultra (Ventura) but it does not work

Does anyone have it working? I press the record button and the cursor marker does not move.
I figured it out!!

In Ventura you have to enable the audio apps in Privacy/Security/Microphone

There are also options in Audacity Transport/rescan audio devices, and Transport options

Speaking of which, check that Transport > Transport Options > Sound Activated Recording is not checked.
