Just one question (Fedora 36)

Why would audacity require xorg-x11-server-Xwayland (in terms of package requirements)??

Personally I like audacity, use it occasionally.

However xorg-x11-server-Xwayland I would’nt touch with a barge pole. Why you forcing it to be installed (xorg is already installed). This is how Lennart Poettering managed to infect linux with systemd - tie udev to systemd and force systemd on the world. Is that what we really want, force everyone on to wayland I?

Luckily you can use the appimage or compile from source instead of using the fedora package.
