I have audacity 2.0.5 and window 7. well the thing is that I was recording and I was playing with the effects and changed the first value (threshold) of compressor and now I don’t remember what is the original value. can you tell me what is it? thanks a lot for your help and have a nice sunday. greetings.
I never use the compressor, so these should be the default settings (attached).

Or maybe not. Here’s one from 2.0.5 and it has a different value.
All images in the Audacity Manual show the default settings for a dialogue. So as you can see at Compressor , the default threshold is -12 dB.
