I've lost something here!

I’ve been running Audacity 2.0.3 on Windows 7 for almost a year now. Last week my computer crashed and I had to do a full re-install of everything, using all the same software. Before the crash, my Audacity input choices included Line In, Microsoft sound mapper, and another setting that allowed me to record any sound the computer made (such as sounds from websites, etc.). I can’t remember the name of that last one (it may have been called What You Hear or Stereo Mix or something like that). Now, after the crash, I no longer have it. I have added no new or different hard or software or drivers, so I can’t figure this out.

Does anyone understand what I’m talking about, and what I might do about it?

Thanks!

This page should help you find and “un-hide” the settings. By default, some of the recording options are often hidden in Win7.

Thanks DVDdoug (hummm…my name is Doug too!). That was it! I must have done that once before in the past, but don’t remember it. Anyway, thanks again!
