I’m recording audio books to mp3 so I can listen to them on my mp3 player or in my car (no tape player there!)… Am I going to have to babysit the recordings, or is there an auto-shut-off feature in Audacity? I can’t find one… but I’m still holding out hope.
In 1.3.x the developers have added a timed recording facility - but be careful as it is apparently still a little buggy.

Aren’t these Audio Books on CD? Can’t you just rip them to MP3 using Windows Media Player (or something similar)?
