Invalid Sample Rate

Using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6
Audacity 2.3.3

Please help. I bought the Super USB Cassette Capture Device a month ago. Trying to convert cassette tapes to MP3.

Have tried numerous times over the weeks to figure this out. Followed all the instructions. I keep getting
“Error opening recording device”. “Error code -9997 Invalid Sample Rate”
I did go into System preferences to allow the Mac access to the microphone. That did not work.

I suggest you start by setting the default project sample rate in audacity preferences to a relatively undemanding value such as 44.1KHz (44100) and see if that works.
