internal mic picks up external noises [SOLVED]

When i record through my citronic sound card it picks up me talking and other external noises.

Help?

Then you are not recording through the citronic device, but from your internal mic.

Be sure to select the citronic device in Audacity’s Device Toolbar .

If you need further help, please tell us the version of Audacity you are using, your version of OS X, and the Mac model you are using.
