Maybe someone can help me with the issue I have installing the Program under Windows 7. When installed on Administrator Account it works fine while working from this account. When installed on User Account, the playback is about 10 x slower than it should be… What am I doing wrong? I want Audacity on User Account to be the only one accessible. I already tried several times to install/re-install it, and it doesn’t help. Did not have this problem with the older version of Audacity, and successfully used it to work with my vinyl records. You’re not complaining that the music goes at the wrong speed, right? You’re complaining about sluggish performance? You push a button and it takes forever to do something.
I want Audacity on User Account to be the only one accessible.
Is this a company machine and the users have accounts on network connected drives? Audacity doesn’t like that very much. It doesn’t know about network management and delays.
