I cannot install the latest Audacity getting this message:
“Current process failed; code 740
The requested operation requires elevation”
I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

You need to run the installer as an Administrator.
Thanks! I try to figure out how I can install as an administrator.
Right click on the installer and select Run as administrator. You will be prompted for the administrator password.
