With the new Mac OS releasing this week, I was curious is there are any known Audacity issues other have experienced with the GM currently being used by beta testers? I did a search but didn’t seem to find any issues which would raise a red flag when upgrading to the new OS. I imagine this question will come up often this week so I thought I’d ask.

P.S. And yes, I always back up and remain ready to switch back should problems arise. :wink:

I’ve been testing El Capital for a while. I see no problems with my gear or with software. Performance and stability are good.

But these problems will show when everybody starts upgrading.
Why?

One important reason is I did a clean install on my test machine. Most others will be doing an upgrade. And it’s when all this old software hits the system that oddities and bugs will show up.
