Import of older .aup project (2021) is incomplete

Hello.
I recorded a vinyl record album back in 2021 on my Windows 10 computer, and was able to export all songs in both FLAC and AIFF formats.
Now when I import the project into Audacity 3.7.1, it only imports the first 20 minutes of a 50 minute album. All of the song labels are there but the music is missing. I’ve tried this on several projects and they all behave the same way.
The _data folder is in place and named correctly, and the import doesn’t generate any error messages.
The project file and _data folder were zipped back in '21, and unzipped just yesterday. Wonder if something was broken in that process.
Any tips for getting this import to work would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you could make one of those zip’d projects available for us to test.

You could use dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, iCloud, or one of the many free file sharing services such as transfernow.net
Just ensure that the download link is publicly accessible and does not require an account for the recipient.

Hi Teleman,

I downloaded your file, no problem. When I opened it my heart sank because I had just 20 minutes too. However, I noticed there were splits and my instincts told me to re-join them for some reason. I did this by selecting all and doing Ctrl+J to join them. And then, as if by magic, I had 46 minutes of music. Try it yourself to see if it works for you. I am more than happy to upload an Audacity3 project file using the same method as you used.

It seems that transfernow dot net might not be a good option. I’ve just tested it to see what the problem might be but each time I get the error:

Transfer not found

Please check your link or try in another browser. Some softwares or extensions may modify the link in the browser.
