I'm missing a commandline argument like '-i' to import files into an existing session

using version 3.3.3.
So it will be possible to open a bunch of files in one audacity window as multiple tracks.

Yes you can

But note that all the tracks will start at T=0

You can align them to still be on separate tracks but be one after the other if you use Tracks > Align Tracks > Align End to End

Peter

I’m afraid it’s a misunderstanding, I would like to have a command line parameter (e.g. -i) that I can use like this
audacity -i one.wav two.wav tree.mp3

The files one.wav two.wav tree.mp3 should either be imported into an open session or a new session should be started in which the files are imported as tracks

FWIW: This feels like something you could use mod-script-pipe for instead.

@LWinterberg do LOF still work in current/recent versions of Audacity?
