identifying specific Hz - to remove using equalizer

Hello - I filmed a short video clip and I was able to remove white noise and I was able to remove some of the clipping as well. There is one other issue which I think I can remove it using the equalizer so… other than trial and error, is there a way I could isolate the specific frequency that has the buzzing sound I want to remove? Its happening on certain phrases my interviewee was saying. Thanks,

That’s a red flag that the buzzing sound is actually overload distortion. Even if it is not overload distortion, the fact that you describe it a “buzzing” implies that it is not one frequency, but very many, and thus cannot be removed by a simple notch filter.

Anyway, switch the track to Spectrogram view and you’ll know if you’re dealing with a single frequency.
