I sound like I'm underwater...

Hello,

I have been using Audacity for a while, but suddenly every time I record something it sounds like I’m talking underwater - there are sort of odd sounds in the background, rather like ELO is playing, only it isn’t; I’m just talking. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I can do to fix it?

Oh, and I’m using 2.0.3.

What is this “something” of which you speak?

The symptoms are of Windows Enhanced Services.

I am having the same problem and the tutorials don’t seem to give help that I can get my head round - nothing practical about which knobs to turn!!
